Golf - Probability of Hole-In-One

According to US Hole-In-One Insurance,[1] the odds of this even occurring in a four-round, 144-player PGA tournament is approximately 1/1 (50%, +100). The probability of a single professional golfer getting a hole-in-one has been estimated to be 3,000/1 (0.03%, +300,000).[2]

Using this number of 3,000/1 the following equation can be created to find the odds of a hole-in-one in a tournament:
